• How soon can I get an appointment?
  • It depends on the time of year and how booked my schedule happens to be. Usually, I'm able to book you within ten days after you call.
  • Do you shoot on weekends or in the evening?
  • Yes, I photograph on both Saturdays and Sundays. If you want to book an apointment on the weekend, please book well in advance, since these are very popular days and they fill up quickly.
  • What if I have two or more pets?
  • No sweat. I call this the Pedigree Session and it is just $100 more to cover the extra time and post production.
  • Should I have my dog groomed?
  • If you decide to groom your pet do it at least a day before your appointment.
  • Can you photograph my cat?
  • I would be happy to photograph any of your pets . I have taken portraits of cats, rabbits, parrots, chickens, and dogs.
  • Can I be in the photo with my pet?
  • Of course. We call it the Pedigree Session if it is a combination of both your pet and you and your pet. It is just $100 more to cover the extra time and post production.
  • Can I get prints of different sizes and quataties?
  • Of course, please contact me so that I can send you our Basic Session Fees information packet.
  • Can you do Christmas or Note Cards?
  • Yes. Prices on request.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
  • Yes.
  • Can I use any of the photographs that you have taken of my pet and reproduce it?
  • Part of your portrait package is a CD that contains all the photographs taken during the session for your personal web usage. The copyright of all the images belong to Dan Nelken and Fetching Dog Photos. Any commercial usage would need to be negotiated.
  • Do you take credit cards?
  • Yes.
